How do I get to and from Biddulph Old Hall?

1

Biddulph Old Hall is such a hidden secret, that even navigation systems can fail in finding it. Please make sure to always follow the location address and use Google Maps as a back up for directions. After turning from the main road into the street leading to Biddulph Old Hall you will first pass a large farm on your right, keep going and follow the road down the hill. The tower of the building will be visible through the trees and you have arrived!

Can I bring my children?

2

We have opted for a child-free wedding so that everyone can fully relax and enjoy the festivities.

We thank you for your understanding, and we hope this advance notice means you can still join us. Please note that while we naturally welcome newborns who cannot be separated from their mothers, we are unable to make any further exceptions out of respect for all the other parents we have invited.

Can I bring a plus one?

3

If you a have received the link to our website from either one of us, we will have clearly specified the people invited in our message to you.

5

What should I wear?

4

Can I hold a speech?

Dress Code: Cocktail Attire

For women: A knee-length, tea-length, or midi dress, a tailored jumpsuit or suit with formal shoes.

For men: A suit and tie with formal shoes.

As two fashion designers are getting married, we encourage you to bring your most stylish and creative selves. We kindly ask that you steer clear of loud, busy patterns or light colours (there should be only one woman in white) in favour of sleek block tones. It is dress fancy, not fancy dress ;)

Please keep the terrain in mind. The grass can be soft and the stones are historic, so please choose your heels accordingly!

We’ve officially limited the microphone to just our closest family, the Maid of Honour, and the Best Man—mostly to save you from a three-hour speech marathon!

Where should I stay?

6

Can I take pictures?

7

Is there parking at the venue?

8

Please see our Travel & Stay section for all information.

While we have provided our top recommendations for stays and transport, we kindly ask you to handle you own bookings and logistics so we can stay focused on the festivities!

To ensure everyone can be truly present with us, we’ve invited a few talented friends to capture the day in an informal, candid style, though you are welcome to take your own photos/videos throughout the celebration.

There is a strict no phones and no filming policy during the ceremony, so please keep all phones tucked away until we are wed.

When sharing your memories on social media, we kindly ask that you respect the privacy of our loved ones by avoiding posts where other guests' faces are clearly visible.

You can easily park your car in a grassy car park at Biddulph Old Hall, which will be marked with clear signs upon your arrival on the wedding day.

What if I have dietary restriction?

9

Our reception feast will be served buffet-style and cooked over an open fire, allowing you the freedom to curate a plate that suits your personal tastes and dietary needs, including plenty of vegetarian options. Please ensure you specify any strict dietary restriction in your RSVP, so we can accommodate you perfectly.

Sure, you can reach us anytime via our email GaydoulGodfrey@gmail.com or drop us a text!
